The Art of Remembrance

Remember Them remembers all who served in WW1. Almost 100, 000 New Zealanders (10% of all Kiwis then) served overseas with 18, 000 dying and 40, 000 injured. The art installation at St Davids Church in Khyber Pass comprises thousands of Max Gimblett quatrefoils, each the size of a soldiers outstretched hand.

The quatrefoil is an Iona cross, a universal symbol of peace and new life.

Hawkins&Co was honoured and proud to work with Project Director Paul Baragwanath and Consortium on communications for this beautiful project.
